In the armchair version of Adèl, the backrest continues into the arms as a single piece, so the line runs unbroken from one side to the other. The ash wood frame stays exposed around a padded seat and back in fabric or leather, and elastic webbing beneath the seat gives slightly as you sit down. It suits either end of a dining table, and works just as well in a restaurant or hotel.
